Director's Statement:

I’m releasing this film on the 9th anniversary of my sobriety (March 13th, 2025). Relapse calls on the need to accept community in addiction/recovery spaces. It exemplifies the power that the connections built in those spaces can hold on one another. A lot of this film takes inspiration from the difficulties I experienced in my own relapse period, or the emotional difficulties I faced soberly hiding from a community that was waiting for me to pull my head out of my ass.
